CEM Premier In-Person Training/ Certification April 2026

HUNTSVILLE AEE CHAPTER - CEM CLASS

About The Seminar:

The Huntsville AEE Chapter is doing its part again this year to enhance your learning experience in attaining the prestigious Certified Energy Manager (CEM®) title. We will sponsor a 5-day CEM Training Seminar with certification exam on the last day. There will be four days of in-depth, comprehensive learning and problem-solving forums that will carry you through the examination of the basic fundamentals of energy management and on to a systematic “working level” knowledge of specific principles and techniques needed to really get this job done. All work will be done in an open forum class where questions and answers are worked through integrating the knowledge base of the students and instructors. Lunch will be provided by our sponsors and will be served on site to maximize classroom time and peer to peer networking and studies during the seminar time.

Our Chapter’s Donation to Support AEE International Members

Dear AEE Huntsville Chapter members and supporters,

We are pleased to share that our chapter has decided to contribute $150 to the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) in response to their request for support. This donation will help cover travel expenses for international AEE chapter members who wish to attend the 2026 AEE World Energy Conference & Expo in Orlando, Fl, on September 15-18, 2026.

Many of AEE’s international chapters face financial challenges, yet they remain deeply committed to advancing the energy industry and being part of the AEE World experience. By contributing, we are helping to ensure broader global participation and knowledge-sharing at this important event.

Thank you to all our members for supporting initiatives like this that strengthen our professional community. If you’d like to personally contribute or learn more about this effort, please let us know.

Warm regards,
Victor Keeling
Chapter President, AEE Huntsville

AEE Huntsville Chapter 2026 Award

As the 2026 World Energy Convention approaches, our Chapter has once again received awards for our local accomplishments. These awards will be presented at the WEC in Orlando this year in September.

Please take a moment and congratulate Kelley Whalen on receiving the 2026 Best Chapter Leader award! It is well deserved for his hard work in our chapter during his most recent 2 year term. We are very proud to once again have our chapter represented in such a positive way locally and Internationally as people from all over the world will attend the WEC each year.

We also submitted a local Real Estate business in Huntsville for the 2026 Energy Project of the Year award which was received for the Mid-Atlantic & Southeast US Region. Freedom Real Estate & Capital, LLC has initiated an energy conservation project to reduce energy consumption, improve indoor comfort for tenants, and receive TVA incentives for the Commissioning Incentive portion of the TVA program.

We are very excited for each of these recipients and for our Chapter members and AEE members who regularly support our Chapter and AEE. I hope each of you can take some time to attend the WEC this year and please be sure to congratulate our recipients of these awards at your earliest convenience.

Thank You!

Sincerely,

Victor Keeling

Chapter President 26 - 28

Sponsorship Opportunity at AEE Huntsville Monthly Meetings

Dear AEE Huntsville Members and Non-members,

I hope this message finds you well!

As part of our ongoing efforts to create valuable networking opportunities and foster collaboration within our community, I’m excited to offer a unique sponsorship opportunity for our upcoming AEE Huntsville monthly meetings.

We are offering local businesses the chance to sponsor lunch for our members during one of our monthly meetings for a fee of $200. In return for your sponsorship, you’ll be given 5 to 7 minutes at the start of the meeting to introduce yourself and your business, as well as to highlight your products or services and provide product literature and handouts. This is a great way to gain exposure, share your expertise, and connect with other professionals in the energy industry.

If you’re interested in taking advantage of this opportunity or would like more details, please feel free to reach out to us. We’re looking forward to collaborating with you and helping you maximize the value of your AEE Huntsville membership.

Thank you for your continued support of our chapter.

Best regards,

Victor Keeling
