Retrocommissioning (RCx) is the process used to ensure that a building is meeting the current and unique needs of the owner and occupants and that the building is properly maintained and operated. Buildings that are ideal for the retrocommissioning process include those which have never been commissioned, have had mission changes, or struggle with poor operation. The focus of the presentation is the retrocommissioning process while drawing on the parallels between it and lean six sigma.
